Student Leadership Summit
This coming year's summit will be held on January 22nd to the 24th, 2016, and will be hosted by Cal Poly Pomona. We hope you can join and support this leadership event, while we work towards inspiring stronger leaders for the future.
Our plans of this year's 2016 summit will twist and challange how you lead.
The Student Leadership Summit is an event that brings ITE students to a western district university in order to develop their leadership abilities. As well as, improve their career development and create friendships with fellow students.
The vision of this summit is an on going passing of the torch from university to university. This allows for the leadership and conference planning experience to be experienced by many universities across the western district.
This is the chance for leaders from the transportation industry to share their expertise in how to be a successful leader and create a successful career.
This summit was created by Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and coordinated by Kaylinn Roseman in 2014. Kaylinn had the foresight to plan an event no other chapter had considered. She continues to help in the planning process as a mentor for success. In 2015 Sacramento State was awarded the summit and Kaylinn had sucessfully inspired other universities to take the lead.
Sacramento State's lead coordinators were Reaa Ali and Spencer Ord. Their planning spread the knowledge and possibilities of the summit to students from all over..
